Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology
The Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology is well developed and fully functioning as per MSVE-2016. It has been established to impart training to veterinary undergraduate students in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology as per VCI norms. It provides knowledge to B.V.Sc. & A.H. students in General and Systemic Pharmacology, Neuropharmacology, Chemotherapy and Toxicology. The Department is fully equipped and competent to provide practical knowledge to students of B.V.Sc. & A.H. in terms of pharmacological and toxicological aspects. The Department is having well-equipped (i) Experimental Pharmacology Laboratory and (ii) Pharmacology & Toxicology Laboratory. Laboratories are having all essential glass wares and equipments required for teaching and research purpose viz. Tissue bath, Kymograph, Binocular microscope, Spectrophotometer, Electronic stimulator, Centrifuge, Water bath, Digital pH meter, Observation cages for rats and mice etc.
